Information Processed
Breathe Mindfully processes the following data locally on your device. We cannot access this data.
Breathing session records: exercises completed, duration, configurations, and date played.
Your preferences: selected techniques, theme, and progression settings.
Donation receipts: records of optional in-app purchases/donations (managed by Apple/Google).
How We Use Your Information
Core Functionality
Store and display your session history and daily streaks.
Track daily progress toward your mindfulness goals.
Persist your exercise configuration and preferences across sessions.
Provide accurate insights and analytics based on your local history.
Donations / In-App Purchases
Process optional one-time donations through the App Store and Google Play Store.
Data Storage, Security, and Sync
All data is stored locally on your device using an embedded database.
Your preferences are persisted on-device securely.
iCloud Sync (iOS): If enabled, your session data is synchronized across your Apple devices using your private iCloud account (CloudKit). We do not have access to this private database.
Android Backup & Sync: On Android devices, the app uses your device's native Storage Access Framework to securely power automated background backups to a local folder or preferred cloud provider (such as Google Drive). We never have access to these files.
We operate no servers and maintain no external databases.
Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or any third parties. Your data never leaves your device or your personal cloud accounts.
Apple and Google Services
Breathe Mindfully integrates with the following services, which follow their respective privacy practices:
StoreKit / Google Play Billing — processing in-app purchases and donations.
CloudKit — data synchronization (Apple devices).
Firebase Crashlytics — anonymous crash reporting to improve app stability.
Your Choices and Controls
Delete all training data by uninstalling the app or accessing your device's cloud management settings.
Adjust or reset your settings at any time.
Children's Privacy
Breathe Mindfully is designed for users aged 13 and older. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian must manage the account. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent.
Changes to This Policy
We may revise this policy when we add features or when laws change. We will update the date shown at the top of this page. Review this policy periodically. Continued use of Breathe Mindfully after a change means you accept the updated terms.
