Acceptance of Terms

Using Sirch means you accept these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the app.

You must be 13 or older. Users under 18 need parental or guardian consent.

What Sirch Is

Sirch is a productivity and research tool that helps you build advanced search queries using publicly documented search operators (such as site:, filetype:, intitle:, quotes, and exclusions). When you launch a query, Sirch assembles the query text and opens it in your browser or the chosen search engine or platform. Sirch does not scrape, bypass authentication, or access any system on your behalf.

Your License to Use Sirch

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Download and install Sirch on your personal devices.
  • Use Sirch to build, save, and launch search queries for your personal or professional research.
  • Keep your search history, saved queries, and folders.

You may NOT:

  • Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the app.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works.
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or branding.
  • Use Sirch for commercial redistribution without written permission.

Acceptable Use

Sirch only assembles query text and opens it in your browser. You are responsible for how you use the queries you build.

  • Comply with all applicable laws and with the terms of service of the search engines and platforms you use.
  • Do not use Sirch to harass or stalk others, to infringe privacy, or to access data or systems you are not authorized to access.
  • Do not use Sirch for any unlawful purpose.

Sirch is a research and productivity tool, not a hacking or unauthorized-access tool. You alone are responsible for your searches and their consequences.

Your Content and Feedback

Your queries, history, and saved items belong to you. You can delete them anytime by clearing them in the app or uninstalling it.

By using Sirch, you grant us a limited license to process your data locally solely to operate the app's functionality on your device. This license ends when you delete your data.

If you share feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the app without compensation.

Intellectual Property

Sirch, including its name, logo, design, and code, is owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not use the Sirch name or branding without written permission.

In-App Purchases

Sirch is free to use with a daily limit on the number of query launches for non-premium users.

Sirch offers a single, optional one-time purchase that permanently unlocks unlimited query launches (premium).

  • Your linked payment account is securely charged by the App Store or Google Play Store when you confirm the purchase.
  • This is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It does not auto-renew, and it can be restored on your devices.
  • Refunds are managed entirely by Apple and Google according to their policies.

Data and Privacy

Your search history, saved queries, and folders belong to you. They live on your device and, if you enable backup, securely in your own private cloud account. We cannot access them.

Delete your data anytime by clearing it in the app or uninstalling. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Third-Party Search Engines and Platforms

Sirch opens your queries in third-party search engines, platforms, and browsers that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for their results, content, availability, or policies. Search operators are defined by those providers and may change or stop working at any time.

Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIRCH IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

  • The app will function uninterrupted or error-free.
  • Defects will be corrected in any particular timeframe.
  • Any query or operator will return specific or accurate results from third-party search engines.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:

  • Loss of Data: loss or corruption of your saved queries or history.
  • Costs of Substitute Services: finding alternative apps or services.
  • Any Other Intangible Losses.

Maximum Liability: In any case, our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (or EUR 50 if you have not paid anything).

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, an EU member state. Romanian law aligns with EU regulations, including GDPR for data protection.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern:

  1. Contact us first. We will work with you in good faith to resolve issues informally.
  2. EU residents can use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
  3. Legal proceedings must be brought in Romanian courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when we add features or when laws change. Continued use of Sirch after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Acknowledgment

By using Sirch, you agree to these Terms. You confirm:

  • You have read and accept these Terms.
  • You are 13 or older (or have parental consent).
  • You will follow all applicable laws and use Sirch responsibly.
  • You understand Sirch builds and launches search queries that you are responsible for.
  • You accept our Privacy Policy.

If you disagree with these Terms, do not use Sirch.
